Along the shoreline with its cliffs there are several good white sandy beaches including Great Western, Tolcarne and Towan. These are busy beaches as they are close to the town so, for a quieter life move a little further along to Lusty Glaze and Porth, Surfers should head to the favoured beach of Fistral which seems to always have reliable waves and is now the UK?s most famous surfing beach and home of the Rip Curl Boardmasters surfing festival. Ceratinly it is great entertainment for your Newquay Holidays.
Families prefer to relax and play of the white sands of Holywell Bay where there are rockpools and caves to explore at low tide. Also the Blue Reef Aquarium is worth visiting for those unusual sea creatures that children love to see. Newquay also has a zoo for families. Whatever your taste or age, visit Newquay for your holidays and stay in a Newquay Holiday Cottage.
