Keswick has a repertory theatre ans some good outdoor shops as well as all the usual tourist necessities like cafes, pubs, restaurants and a range of shops. Centrall situated is the Moot Hall which dates from 1813 and is now the toruist centre. Well worth a visit is the Pencil Museum as graphite was discovered and mined here resulting in a pencil industry. You can also visit the Museum and Art Gallery which incorporates original scritps from Lakeland writers.
